Victoria C. Ukachukwu, PhD
Sunday October 28th 10:30 -11:30 am
Zoom Video Conference Link (see below)
Awakening to True Nature
In 2014, I awakened to the realization that being aware is my true nature. The experience was one of simply being aware without the identity of a person who is aware. At once exhilarating and disorienting, this simple but profound realization transformed my experience of life to one of effortless being. A major effect of this realization is an enduring peace that transcends all experience. In this awakened sense of being, the body-mind is experienced as an objective sense of the knowing of being -- I AM. There is no longer the need for an individual identity as a person who is living life. There is only awareness and the experience of the objectified sense of this awareness as and through various forms of expression. The illusion of a person who is aware of objects dissolved and was replaced with a pervasive sense of joy and freedom in pure being.
Before 2014, my life was based on the story of a woman named Victoria Ukachukwu who is a trained scientist with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and is a divorced mother of two daughters. All of my experiences derived from this core identity. Over time, this identity became very limiting and questions about God and the nature of reality began to arise. Science offered no satisfactory answers nor did the Catholic religion in which I was raised. In 2010, I discovered the teachings of non-duality. In particular, the teachings of Mooji and Rupert Spira. And in 2012, I went to my first retreat with Rupert Spira but came away with more questions. It was not until June 2014 when I went to a second retreat with Rupert Spira that all questions dissolved with the recognition of my true nature.
Since 2014, I have been sharing this amazing realization with all who are interested in knowing their true nature. As a friend of mine put it: “Awareness is to be shared and mirrored back to all... so that we may realize our True Nature.” In my experience, being aware or Awareness Itself is our true nature and our only purpose. It is Absolute.

Naho Owada Video Conference Tue Nov 1st - 7:00 pm
Naho communicates about non-duality. All there is is what is… nothing and everything. Simply Life happening. She points out the cause of suffering which is apparent separation, apparent energetic contraction in the body. However, there never is a separate person existing. Nobody ever suffered. Unconditional love, all that is ever longed for, never left. Already always here. Naho points out this paradox of Life which cannot be spoken about…
Naho was born in Tokyo, Japan. Since she was a little girl, Naho was very sensitive and always had a sense of insecurity and fear of life, even though she was protected and loved by her family as an only child.
One day she discovered non-duality and she started seeking for the reason of her sense of lack and insecurity. She wanted to find endless happiness. After many years of seeking, suffering stopped… It was completely different from what she imagined… It was a big surprise!
Something recognized, there never was anyone there to suffer. Naho never existed… All there is, all there has ever been, is Life alone.
Currently Naho lives in Paris and she communicates about non-duality with Joy.
P.S. This is only a story…! No stories are true… There is only what is :-) |

- From Norio's blog -
"That there is choice, is only an unconscious justification for the existence of a 'separate self.' When one awakens to the fact there is no self, the whole idea that there is a “someone that has choice” is seen for what it is, an illusion that dissolves along with the illusion of a separate self identity."

Weekend Retreat Intensive
Friday Dec 4th: 7 - 9pm
Saturday Dec 5th: 10am - 9pm
(w/ breaks for lunch and dinner)
Generously sponsored by and to be held at the
Clearwater Sangha 104 Forsythia Drive South Levittown, PA 19056
– Cost is Free –
(Donations to the Clearwater Sangha are encouraged)
From the Host -
"If you had any doubts about non-duality , awakening and the falling away of mind and body and wanted to meet with a teacher who is genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of that with you and sharing his wisdom and experience with no fluff please consider this retreat.
I asked Gary to skip the normal heady presentation on Friday. Not that this isn't important but since we will only have Friday and Saturday together I opted for the time to be more experiential with general context on how these timeless practices actually change the brain and to leave room to answer any questions.
This way we could spend more time with Gary dealing with the actual integration and practical aspects of living freely from the selfing thoughts that cause so much misery in our lives and exploring the practices and applications that he utilizes for this.
As a prerequisite for doing this retreat everyone would be advised to watch 'The End of Suffering and the Default Mode Network' and check out 'The Eight Myths of Non-Duality' prior to our retreat."

Peter Veltri
Founder of The Bridge Method (a Yin-based, healing modality that comes from a place of openness and energy flow within the practitioner)
Tue Aug 25th - 7:30 pm via web-conference (Follow this link for the video conference recording)
My name is Peter Veltri. I have been a practitioner of Asian healing arts since 1991 and a certified instructor of Integrative Eclectic Shiatsu since 1995. I am also a certified herbalist and my business, Sunrise Healing Arts, is where I practice.
In June of 2013 I was getting a bit bored and frustrated with my work thinking that I pretty much knew my strengths and limitations as a practitioner and I was beginning to wonder what I would do to break free of my current dilemma. It was the limitations that were really bothering me. Why did some people or conditions respond so well and others not at all? At this time, a funny thing happened. I woke up…….. and suddenly there were no limitations! The Bridge Method came about as a result of this awakening. I began to see positive results in my work like I had never seen before and the results happened quickly. I also began to see the endless possibilities available not only as a healing modality but in any aspect of my life as well. The Bridge Method continues to unfold for me and is still a work in progress. It is my desire to share The Bridge with anyone who might be interested in a new life adventure. I’m looking forward to meeting you soon!

After working in the field of addictions for nearly 20 years, I became very curious when I heard about the amazing work of Scott Kiloby. Scott had developed an inquiry (The Unfindable Inquiry) that helped people see through beliefs and stories of suffering, as well as chronic states of emotional imbalance such as depression and anxiety.
“There is nothing sweeter than seeing the emptiness of all things.” This is what Scott Kiloby’s work is all about.
After a twenty year battle with addiction, Scott Kiloby (http://livinginquiries.com)began looking in a different way. Instead of turning away from negative thoughts and feelings from the past and looking for release in the future, he began to face his suffering directly. He began to allow all negative and positive energies of thought, emotion, and sensation to be as they are. He began to rest and recognize presence as the stable foundation in which these energies temporarily come and go. Through inquiring into the nature of the belief in separation, and how it arises, and making presence primary in his life, Scott discovered that the key to release from the addictive cycle exists in the one place addicts refuse to look — the present moment.
I trained with Scott to first learn The Unfindable Inquiry, a very expansive and yet simple process, as well as The Anxiety Inquiry (used on anything that has a perceived threat or danger, and results in fear).
I have been doing those inquiries with clients with great success. Obstacles people have had have fallen away. Identities they were sure that comprised who they were have dissolved. Physical pain has subsided. Lifelong anxieties and other imbalances have shifted dramatically or fallen away. Freedom has been experienced for the first time, for many.
Another of Scott's tools, The Compulsive Inquiry might be thought of as the crème’ de crème of all inquiries. It includes both The Unfindable Inquiry as well as The Anxiety Inquiry. No stone is left unturned as together we directly explore into the clients addiction or compulsion. This is why it has been so successful in helping countless numbers of people experience freedom from addictions and compulsions, without relying on such things as willpower, which often results in the person feeling guilt and shame and failure.
If you have something in your life that feels like you have to engage in it, that you could simply not imagine existing without, this inquiry is for you. The compulsion/addiction can be anything: tobacco, drugs, food, sex, gambling, exercise, being negative, worrying, hair pulling, the internet, porn, shopping, work, relationships, meditating, love, seeking, self-improvement, and the list goes on. |

Night Sky Sangha presents at Pebble Hill's Sunday Celebration (Sun July 19th - 10:30 am)
"The Way of the Open Hand" Link for Video Recording
We take ourselves sufficiently seriously to have opinions, beliefs, practices, and choices. We strive to adopt and cultivate the best opinions, beliefs, practices, and choices so our lives will be joyful and successful and meaningful. Our religious and secular conditioning tells us that these privileges are essential to our well-being and even our survival.
We rarely question the most fundamental ingredients or symptoms of consciousness. We tend to skip over the profundity of being and presume ourselves to suffer from a vast insufficiency that we must heal through remediation, craving, and accumulation.
At the root of experience we can consent to a non-stop symphony of texture and feeling and swirling thought suggesting meaning and explanation and cause and consequence. Our actual experience is without duration, though curiously persistent. We experience wonder with no effort, transcendence with no origin, joy with no cause; and the thinking hijacks our bliss and condemns us to time and individuation.
Perhaps it would be an exciting experiment to rest in one’s own presence completely free from opinions, beliefs, practices, and choices? How might it feel to relish the gift of being with no reference, no past, no future, no need for relevance, nothing to defend, nothing to seek, without anticipation or separation?
Let’s find out.
