Night Sky Sangha

(formerly Pebble Hill Mindfulness Sangha)

Welcome

Night Sky Sangha
(formerly Pebble Hill Mindfulness Sangha)
Every Tuesday Evening  7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Pebble Hill Interfaith Church in the Yellow Barn (upstairs)

During our ninety-minute program, our informal and contemplatively minded group practices sitting and walking meditation inspired by the great Buddhist and Yogic traditions and teachers.  We have dharma readings and reflections and we close with a circle of gratitude and requests for healing. The Sangha meets Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Yellow Barn.  Our practice space is lit by candles, and during the winter we often have a log fire.  Guests and new comers are always welcome.  Our facilitators are available to talk with you about any practice questions you may have.  Sitting and walking together is a very nourishing experience, and we welcome your participation.

Inquiry into Awakening meetings are unscripted and spontaneous - they are a unique adventure of exploring what it means to be present, aware, free from the insistence of one's personal story. As a natural extension of our silent meditation practice this dialogue process is aimed at exploring the obvious and subtle myths we hold about the nature of awareness, our expectations for higher consciousness, and the means at our disposal for deep looking and the cultivation of insight.
